We would occasionally train there when I was in the Army Reserve, before it was TDI (it was called TTC then) back in the mid to late 80s.
I think the last time I did any training there was in 2015 when I was still working. 😎
It's a great place, and they've been doing great training there since forever.
I live in Dripping Springs, TX about 30 minutes West of Austin.
I used to train at Onion Creek Gun Club, but it was closed when the owner sold the land to a condo developer.
Heck yeah, I'll meet up to train.

I mostly train in my backyard...not a lot of time with 3 kids and full time job but I'd travel a bit for good fellowship and training.

@matt if you want some good long range training, check out BangSteel.com they have steel out to 1260 yards and even a nice rock at a mile.

Bristol area is 6ish hours from me so it's a pretty good hike. Im a little bit south of the Richmond area.
Have looked at bangsteele before, wish I was closer so I could start attending their matches semi regularly

I go down to Scioto range in unicoi sometimes. It’s a state range. It has 3 lanes (25, 50, and 100) with tables to set up on. Pay $2 per day or pay for an annual pass (maybe $30?) You can scan a QR at the entrance and pay online or drop a couple of bucks in the provided envelope.
I also go to my parents farm when it’s not hunting season
