Check out Clinton House. Lot's of great competitions there. They will also be hosting training classes. IWI will be scheduling classes there. Also the old Panteo Range is now Champion Defense Shooting Complex in Swansee. But it looks like they have gone to a yearly membership requirement versus the old day use of $10.

Jason, I have a friend in Strongsville who has been after me to shoot up his way. If so, maybe we can get together and shoot up your way.

I live in Kansas City also. There are plenty of places to shoot but no where to do anything outside of slow fire and no drawing from a holster. Bullet hole may be an exception.
They are having a grand reopening Saturday September 24th.
They are also having gun giveaways at the event.

I am not sure I will be able to make it.

Would I be willing to meet for training: I would be open to meeting for training, only with safe individuals (some people are scary careless).

Range is wide and set up for multiple shooters, yardage markers at 10y, 25y, 50y, 75y, 100y, 125y, 150y max shot currently. Steel and paper targets for all types of shooting (static, draw and fire, shooting while moving, long gun, pistol, transitions).

I'm Near Leavenworth. Mill Creek Rifle Club in Desoto has ranges you can do most anything on. They also have an IPSC League if you're interested
