In this video we put the Ambient Arms EXO suppressor through one of the most comprehensive real-world suppressor tests ever filmed. Instead of relying on marketing claims or cherry-picked data, we traveled to VERS and tested it side-by-side against industry standards — the SureFire SOCOM and HUXWRX flow-through suppressors — measuring sound not just at the shooter’s ear, but downrange and from the side, where it actually matters to people around you.
We didn’t stop at decibels. We measured suppressor temperature under sustained fire, analyzed how fast each can sheds heat, and looked at gas flow and back-pressure in real rifles. On top of that, we sat down with the Ambient Arms engineer to break down how their Ambient Intake™ system works, how it differs from traditional baffle stacks and flow-through suppressors, and whether the data actually supports the claims. This video isn’t hype — it’s controlled testing, thermal data, sound metering, and engineering.
