Love Mr. Lovell and his crew. Wish this was around when I was younger, but C'est la vie.
I'm 62, a bit out of shape but can lift a 50 pound bag of feed and tote buckets of water and walk 5 miles with a light pack. I can shoot the heart out of a target and am working on getting into Gracie Jiu jitsu but have to heal from some injuries first.
Are there other Older Women Warriors out there struggling with the same things? Aging bodies, lack of community, feeling like we missed the boat?
When the time comes, I am an excellent marksmen and can be useful, not just making meals and healing the injured. How would Mr. Lovell deploy an Older Woman Warrior? Or would I be regulated to the kitchen or the sickroom? All of which I would do gladly. I am just wondering what my place is in this world. Thank you for your thoughts.
