So several months ago I purchased the Mantis Blackbeard X. My opinion is that this dry fire training system is extremely valuable to those who lack the time or financial resources necessary for a lot of range time. I was hoping to find some dry fire training videos or reviews by WPSN...in particular John and the Battle Gnome...using this system. Have I missed these? Are they in the works?
i use mine for doing dryfire snap drills pretty regularly at this point. id love to see some wpsn drill segments, maybe even a "drill of the week/month" or something similar. i know john has started to work something similar into the JLS episodes, but a more training centric friendly medium would be awesome
I use mine to help develop and maintain trigger discipline. It's amazing how hard it is to be consistent. At 45 cents a round the Mantis system helps me get a few practice sessions in a week without spending hundreds of dollars a month on ammo. It's not the same a live fire but its very helpful. Especially with the Mantis app.
I agree guys, some additional tips on how to get the most out of the system would be very helpful.
the Mantis Blackbeard x is getting delivered today, It is good to see other are using it on here. I would love to see a training on it and some feed back from other that have used it for a while and if it's worth it. I have mostly only seen positives and people enjoying it, but not long term reviews on it
I have MantisX x3 and it absolutely has helped my overall accuracy. Without a doubt I would buy it again but now I am looking at the Mantis Laser Academy and again would like to see some reviews about it and discussion by John and team.
I just got my MantisX3 and I absolutely love it. I believe if I use it every day, it will help me with grip, trigger control and much more. I just got my new Concealed Carry Gun, the Sig P354XMacro so dry firing to get me use to handling this gun will help prepare me for live fire and I can use the MantisX3 with live fire too! Watching John's Pistol 1, 2 & 3 for the third time. Lots of great information.
Oh it's an XMacro Comp and hopefully my green dot will be here tomorrow. Excited.
