I try to get to the range a few times a month, but my range is a classic bench rest style range with approximately 0% opportunity for live fire drills. I've been noodling on how to do self training (likely in a gravel pit somewhere) but would love to know how yall typically get your training sans professionally provided courses or facilities. Thanks!

I'm trapped in NY. There are precious few ranges that allow any flexibility, particularly with rifles. Many are held to "Elmer Fudd" standards, where anything outside of deer rifles and two round bursts gets you the stink eye or worse.

Funny how in the communist states where they are terrified of people with "unsafe" guns, they severely limit your ability to properly train to become proficient, accurate, and...erm...safe.

You are an American hero without a doubt and I enjoy your all your video's. But as I am sure you know not everybody is 40 something. My point being why have you seemingly forgot senior citizen's? We are victim's of more crime than anyone especially here in Florida. I carry a gun and have got basic training at the range. I practice there every week but know that is not enough. At 67 though my age group is not running, jumping or rolling around on the ground. A lifetime of hard work has left us limited physical abilities. Any advice would be great! I want to train smart just unsure of the train hard part.

I'm in the same boat. A bit older and definitely busted up. I've signed up for rifle one and hope the staff is understanding.
We all need good training regardless of current ability. I wonder if we could get ourselves through something like Rifle two without hindering the progress of the rest of the class.
Any feedback or thoughts here?
