I'm working through Alan Moorehead's "Gallipoli". I'm about 70 pages in and it's an excellent well told history. Given me a lot to chew on so far. It's a fascinating campaign because while it didn't change the course of the war it was foundational to both Australia/New Zealand and Turkey as they became modern states.

Im currently in the first chapters of a book titled "Turtles all the way down". During my commute Im re-listening to Oathbringer in the Branden Sandersens Stormlight Archives series
Intended for Pleasure by Ed Wheat, MD and Gaye Wheat. It has been pretty good. It is a Christian perspective on sexual intimacy in marriage. I recommend it
Read "Crime and Punishment" this month. Well, I finished it. I had a several month break in the middle. Surprisingly compelling read. It's both heartening and disheartening to see that humans are largely the same in 1800s Russia and current America. The ideological arguments are depressingly familiar as well.
Just finished Kris Vallotton's "Supernatural Ways of Royalty". I'm about halfway through Ethan Nicolle's "Chesterton's Gateway" (will soon follow it up by reading a few of Chesterton's own works), also started reading John Edridge's "Fathered by God". Biblically, I've been making my way through 2 Samuel. Will probably start Kris Vallotton's "Spirit Wars" and Marcus Aurelius' "Meditations" when I finish my current books.
Read THE WP WAY in one night last week. Fun read.

Maybe we should start a WPS reading club? Have a vote on a great book and we all get a few weeks to secure a copy and read it fully?
I have been looking for a book club in Phoenix, AZ that has similar interests as me. Unfortunately, that is hard to find .Maybe a post on here to like minded people interested in starting something up is a better idea...
My experience has been that reading is liking working out: you've got to do it for you and usually that means doing it on your own. Heck, I can't get my siblings to read a book they suggested let alone get strangers to read a book.
I read Atomic Habits and Prepared (by Mike Glover).
Atomic habits was overhyped. A couple of decent insights but not as useful as I hoped given its popularity. A good example of readability over utility. BJ Fogg's "Tiny Habits" is a better toolbox for people looking to choose and grow good habits.
Prepared was more useful than I anticipated. I read it rather than skimmed it. He had some psychological principles that I hadn't seen before and some useful questions to think about and answer to myself.

I'm reading SWAMP FOX about Francis Marion in the Revolutionary War right now. I am not as focused on getting through it as I should be, though.
That is a great book. I recommended John add it to the Amazon list and he did. I feel kind of responsible for that and perhaps a touch proud. :)
I'm reading The Warrior Poet Way. It is changing my life for the better. It's helping me get a better prospective on what it means to be a man but that doesn't mean that it only applies to men. It could be for all people.

Finished the Warrior Poet Way a couple weeks ago. Been to 3 Jiu Jitsue classes and have one death letter written. It is the only book I've read that has caused me to take action that quickly.
Now just reading an easy read called "Last of the Long Hunters" about a pilot in Alaska. I'm an airplane junkie so I'm sticking with it but it's not great.
Need to read something fun next.
