In this drill, Paul breaks down why cadence is a training tool, not an engagement strategy. The goal is not to shoot on the move to some kind of marching rhythm. The goal is to use consistent split times as a diagnostic tool that exposes what is actually breaking down in your shooting.
If your cadence falls apart, it can reveal problems with grip endurance, recoil management, dot tracking, or visual discipline. Done correctly, this kind of rhythm drill helps you see whether you can react to each sight picture and press the trigger with control and consistency.
