The Galil is a well known rifle the world over, but one of its more rare variants, the Hadar II, isn't well known at all. The Hadar II wasn't made for any military or law enforcement contracts, it was made for a European civilian contract that unfortunately couldn't be delivered. So, they wound up being imported for one year into the US then production stopped.
