In 2023 someone mailed me a copy of The Warrior Poet Way, and it genuinely helped shape me into the father and the man I am today. It came at a time when I needed direction, and the lessons in that book stuck with me ever since.

I’d like to start a new tradition built around that same spirit of encouragement.

I’m sending out a copy of the book along with a small Rite in the Rain notebook. The idea is simple:

Read. Write. Pass.

— Read the book
— Write your reflections, takeaways, or what impacted you in the notebook
— Pass it on to someone else who could use it, with the same invitation to read, write, and pass it forward

When the notebook is eventually filled, I ask that whoever has it last contact me and either:
1. Mail the whole package back to me, or
2. Mail just the notebook (I’ll provide the postage if needed)

I’ll read through the reflections, replace the notebook with a fresh one, and send the book back out to continue its journey.

My hope is that this becomes a small tradition within the WPS community — a way for us to encourage each other, sharpen each other, and keep the message moving from one person to the next.
