I really enjoyed the the novel. Chapter length was optimal for how I need to read in parent life. Very excited for more back story on the characters and where the story goes after the island events!
Just finished reading it and loved it. Found it interesting how specific the equipment descriptions were. Felt a little bit like product placement at times. Of course the guys were running War Poet pistols at one point. But overall, I really enjoyed it and would recommend it
I enjoyed the book. I liked the story. Obviously I am here, so I am a big fanboy of the WPS and John. My kids tease me that I have a man crush on JL and Nick Freitas and I accept that. My criticism is more on the constructive nature. I would not say this is on a par with the Mitch Rapp or the Terminal List books. There is more character development and they are a bit longer too. The book was a touch predictable. Obviously this is Lovell's first attempt at it.
Do not take that as a hater. I am not. I am critical and that goes to myself as well. I like the story. I would love for these predators to take some lead and copper to the face and this filled some of that desire for me.
Will book 2 be released in physical copy? I only see pre order options for kindle right now
