Colorado House Bill 1292 just passed the House Judiciary Commitee on a 7-3 party line vote. This bans the purchase, sale, and transfer of a broad swath of semi-automatic firearms, defined as assault weapons. This is the furthest any gun ban bill has made it so far. My son testified obviously on the repercussions of such a bill, and is now testifying again today to defend sensitive spaces defined as, for one, not being able to conceal carry in church, to which he is part of the security team at his church in Denver. Will keep this thread up to date.
