Hello warrior poets! I'm new to the network and forums and wanted to reach out to any fellow warrior poets living in Oregon. I am more of a poet than a warrior at this point and would like to learn more skills to better physically protect my family and those around me should the need arise. I married my wife 21 years ago and God has blessed us with four kids, one boy and three girls. I'd like to say they all have a heart for Jesus, but the truth is that our oldest is struggling. But God is faithful. We homeschool our kids via a public charter school and that has its challenges for sure in Oregon. But I'm thankful to be present while the kiddos are navigating these weird times, it presents a lot of opportunity to teach them. Anyways, enough about me. Our world is going from bad to worse and that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone really. Thats what the Word of God says is going to happen. I'm hoping to find other warrior poets to not only be an encouragement to, but also be encouraged by, as we see the day approaching. That we would stand with the truth and not just for it. One of my favorite quotes - "The Word of God is like a lion. You don't have to defend a lion. All you need to do is let the lion loose, and the lion will defend itself." - Charles Spurgeon.
Hi brother, I'm a 41 year old father of 4 living in Rainier, OR. I'm new to this Warrior Poet group but am excited to add this to a path of being a better disciple. Reach out sometime, I'd like to connect with others relatively within my area to set an example of being a good man to the next generation of young men.
