Do I have any other like minded individuals in northern Wisconsin? I'm up near the Superior, WI area. If any of ya'll are up this way and are open to connecting sometime let me know. Its always nice to have more solid people these days to call friends. Seems rarer these days... Hoping to change that. Ideally I would enjoy meeting up for breakfast to get to know everyone and build relationships. Then hit the range sometime for those interested. If your hesitant due to your age or experience level don't be, as John would say "Were on a journey." and I'm more than willing to teach or be taught. We all bring something to the table others can learn from. Would be a shame to not spread the knowledge and sharpen each other.

Well just to kinda bring this post to close I'm not typically one to post or even use any sorta social media (with a couple exceptions obviously) but I thought hey why not its WPSN pretty good people on here from what I've seen so far. So for those that might wanna know a little more I'm 28, married with kids and recently moved back into the country with some land. I was active Army for a few years and now I'm just trying to do this whole life thing to the best of my ability. Really just looking to grow and learn with other like minded God fearing patriots.

I live in Ohio, but I pass through there on my way to visit a reservation in Canada. Used to go twice a year. We usually stop in Rice Lake, WI. for breakfast at Norske Nook, but could stop in Superior instead.

Sounds great just let me know when your planning on passing through and we can pick a time an place. You do much fishing in Canada? I've been to Canada a few times for fishing trips and drove through it a couple times on my way to Alaska for seasonal work.

Sounds good. When we go up there in the summer we do a Bible day camp for the kids. Our friends who invite us up there usually take us out fishing on our last day before we head back. It's incredibly beautiful up there.

You're a bit far from the fox valley area for a casual meet up but it's nice to see another Wisconsinite on the site.

Yeah Randall I’m not sure why my reply’s aren’t working. Unfortunately the Army has changed allot since then and it’s not for the better from what I’ve seen. What unit were you in?

Agreed Noah that’s a bit of a drive. But yeah I’m glad to see a few of us on here. Hopefully we will see a few more of us pop up in this post close enough to be able to meet up a little consistently. That’s the hope at least. If that happens I would like to put on some events or something later on down the road. Would be a good time.

Hi Isaiah. I have a cabin in northern Wisconsin where I live most of the spring and summer. About a 40 minute drive from Superior. Would love to connect this spring. I usually spend time up there in the winter too, but the ice seems pretty worthless for fishing this year!

Hey Bradley. Sweet sounds like a plan. Its basically spring right now with the weather we've had. Like mid 40 degrees all week. So yeah the ice has been worthless or non-existent. But I shouldn't complain last winter was rough Wisconsin broke its snow fall record. I haven't had to shovel or plow this year so that's been nice.

I'll drop a plug here for any Wisconsinites sticking their head in. I'm a big fan of the Academy of Martial Arts in New London. If you're looking to get some muy thai or BJJ training in they do solid and safe training at affordable prices.
