Just want to say that I am really enjoying the interview of John on the Shawn Ryan Show so far. Thanks John for being so open, and also so clearly sharing the gospel and not shying away from faith. I had a pretty big laugh when you were talking about your early marriage years and the fight about just buying essentials but ending up with fancy face soap. My early budgeting technique was just telling my wife to "only buy what we need." I very quickly learned that we have very different definitions of what we "need".

Side note, I know you probably need to balance the faith based content with also appealing to a wider audience that doesn't share the same worldview, but I would love to see maybe a carveout of content that is 100% faith-focused (no holding back) addressing the issues the church is facing today. I.E. anthropology/theology of the body, biblical masculinity/male headship. I know the concept of the war poet is to apply more broadly than just to Christian men, but I think in its true and best form it is a disciplined man of God, who is a provider, protector, theologian and poet. I would love to see that fully fleshed out. I loved your book, and you appeal to scripture but it felt a little softened to appeal to the masses and that left me craving more but full octane unfiltered preacher John.

I second Kaegan, Even if it was as simple as what you did with the guy who bought the Doctor's mystery box (the War Poet show) or a walk through the Bible would be sweet.

Watching this just made me wish I had John as a friend.

I have watched all 4 parts and I found out a few things about John I didn't know. I really enjoyed the interview and I pray that John will have influence from that interview more people to come to salvation. I pray that Shawn will grow in his Christan life and people like John can help with that.

I've been watching John on YT for a few years now and have always appreciated his genuine nature. The Warrior Poet Way was a fantastic (IMO) listen (audiobook) for me.

The community of Warrior Poets has a great foundation and the tools to become the very best versions of themselves!

Watching the interview, along with a couple other snippets from John's channel has really hit home with me regarding family life. So much I could unpack with that.......regrets on how I pursued remarriage.....regrets on raising my kids.......and the list goes on. Listening to John's background and outlook on life, marriage, and family makes me think "So, there's other like me....raised very similar, and having the same exact values". I'm just praying that I can somehow weed through the messes I've made and the challenges that lie ahead. I'm blessed beyond what I deserve, overall (aren't we all?). I'd just really love to get my wife on this same page as well. Praying God puts the right friends and church in our path, as that has been the main struggle the last few years.

I'm a big fan of John and Shawn................I was pumped when I saw that those two got together for a talk. Definitely worth you time to listed to the entire conversation.

Really long interview, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Gives context to quite a lot of other stories and some of Johns beliefs. Also gives a lot of food for thought. Thank you for that.
