So after many years of longing, I’ve finally purchased an AR-15. I got mine through Palmetto State Arms, and I’ve already begun planning for upgrades. Obviously, it’ll get an optic, sling, and light. But what other upgrades should I make? I know Lovell said the charging handle needs to be changed to a more durable one, and the buttstock can do with a better alternative, but what else would other owners recommend? Thanks.

furniture is mostly personal preference, the two main things with the PSA is going to be a very bland trigger and a less than quality BCG. the trigger most people can deal with for a while. the PSA bolt carriers arnt the best and dont hold up to a LOT of heavy use/training, ive seen quite a few fail at the bolt cam pin due to material/heat treat issues. charging handle is another thing, they use serviceable charging handles but they leave a lot to be desired.
