Please provide your recommendation for:
1. Tactical winter parkas including your review (i.e. quiet?, wind-proof?, easy to do zippers with gloves on?)
2. Tactical cold-weather boots
3. Tactical warm-weather boots
4. Favorite flavor of "tactical" ice-cream
How cold are you talking? I don't function in the tactical space and a lot of what I contribute comes from the hunting realm. I'm a fan of my under armor gear, and Merrell Boots.
Thanks for the reply. The answer is: A person needs to be able to carry significant amounts of gear and be out on RECCE for 5-7 days without being able to start a fire or potentially get out of the rain. But one also needs to be able to be quiet. Easily accessible pouches, etc.
I, too, am a hunter. But sitting in a stand, or even stalking game, is not nearly as particular as...tactical recce.
I have some really great leather boots and can layer for hunting. But none of that has the Gucci'ed out molle and carrying pouches for tactical combat. Also, I don't have to hunt when the weather sucks so I have more options.
Will check out the boots. What other options do you have? Would love to see all suggestions.
