Does anyone compete in Run and Gun (RnG) events?
For those of you that don't know, a RnG is basically a race like a 5k, 10k, etc. with shooting stages scattered throughout. It seems like a good test of physical fitness, shooting ability under stress and exhaustion, and performance of gear. I'll be competing in my first event soon (I hope) and I wanted to see what the society thought about it!

Guess my Joke wasn't so good. I hunt the North East and we hunt organized drives. So for 5 weeks out of the year I run and gun for whitetail.

I need to go big game hunting. I've only ever been upland bird hunting in West Texas, but I've moved out to east Tennessee, so a whole new world is available to me.

Middle Tennessee here, watch em bears East Tn. Won't do organized deer drives here but can get some good deer outta these woods.
Have not made a RnG in the past few years do to work, but was doing several a year not long ago. You will definitely test your kit and yourself out. Ton of fun with good people.

If you do Facebook search for the group Run N Gun discussion. Run N Gun in the Sun is my favorite, West Tex Run N Gun, Mystery Operations are the ones I know of in West Texas. I know there are a lot more.
