Planning to acquire a few NFA items and fortunately learned about Gun Trusts before going down the path of purchasing anything under my own name. I don't find any content on this subject across WPSN, so putting it out to the Network via this Forum. I could go down the path of a $99 internet Trust, but I feel like it deserves more than a boiler plate approach. I am in metro Atlanta, which is local to WPS HQ and seeking referral to an attorney in this area to work with on a Trust. Thanks in advance!
Attorney Dean Phillips is who you want. He's located in Marietta and can provide exactly what you're looking for. They've been very responsive and helpful over the years for everything I've needed.
I've got a gun trust in Minnesota...I found it to be pretty straight forward, but it was established before they changed the rules to require a fingerprint card. My attorney was Ben Rust, but I think that he only practices in Minnesota. Here's a link just in case it might be helpful: https://rust-law.com/
ok....I'm new to this...what is a gun trust? What is its benefits?
Try the Kim Firm, LLC in Alpharetta. Mr. Kim is not only a lawyer but a firearms trainer. He actually has a gun store built into his law office which is worth a visit all on its own. He specializes in gun trusts
