🚨 HUGE Second Amendment Victory! 🚨
A federal judge in Texas has just struck down the federal government’s ban on carrying firearms in ordinary post offices and on postal property. For decades, post offices were labeled as “gun-free zones.” But today, the court ruled that both the USPS regulation and the federal statute banning firearms in post offices are unconstitutional as-applied under the Second Amendment.
This decision not only restores rights to law-abiding gun owners but also challenges the entire “sensitive places” doctrine the government has been relying on. With groups like Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) leading the fight, the court agreed: there’s no historical basis to strip Americans of their rights in post offices.
⚖️ The ruling includes both a declaratory judgment and a permanent injunction, stopping the government from enforcing these bans in ordinary post offices.
This is a game-changer that could ripple across the country, forcing courts to reevaluate other so-called “gun-free zones.”
