Civilian response to active shooter events can be very dangerous and involves far more considerations that simply 'grab your gun and go'. Thinking through legal, moral, and tactical considerations beforehand can save lives, which may include your own life. This video contains actual footage of one of my students running through an active shooter scenario and includes my commentary weighing the options on how a civilian may respond to one of these mass shooting events, whether it be in churches, schools, your workplace, or other public areas.
