The disciples thought death was surely imminent as the boat was rocked by massive and angry waves. While Jesus took a well-deserved nap during the storm, they exclaimed their fear and boldly questioned His compassion and loyalty. After calming the winds and the stilling the sea, Jesus noted their fears and immediately admonished them for their lack of faith. Listen this week as Pastor John outlines the biblical path to true freedom from fear, speaking to those who have crafted their entire existence around harboring and hiding the truth of underlying traumas and root causes of fear. Our spiritual walk with Jesus is strengthened when we courageously face our fears, then replace it with a holy fear of God instead. When the earthly waves come crashing into our peace causing fear to arise, we should always ask ourselves, "Who commands the storm?"
