At one of the family's Comedy & Constitution events in Atlanta, an attendee questions Rick's use of MLK quotes with accusations that King was a communist.The family decides to investigate and gets some individual time with MLK's niece, Dr. Alveda King, when they visit MLK's home and the church where he grew up and first preached. This leads them to Birmingham, where the kids are shocked at what they learn.
